Applications Engineer
The successful applicant will be part of the Engineering team and will have experience in the design and integration of control and protection systems used in substations, including the preparation of circuit diagrams, logic diagrams and cabling drawings for use within the Electrical Utilities EHV/HV & Distribution systems. A sound understanding of the Electricity Supply Industry regulations/legislation is essential, together with the ability to interpret client specifications from tender documents, specifications and be able to derive a timely and cost effective technical solution in-line with customer requirements. The ability to liaise technically with customers and suppliers is essential attending client meetings i.e. kick-off/progress meetings to ensure the smooth running of the contract. The Preferred minimum qualification for this position is HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. A generous relocation package will also be on offer for this position.
